MCP Server

Atlas Review can connect supported agent tools through Atlas itself. For most users, MCP setup happens inside the app, not in a terminal.

  • Atlas Settings > MCP
  • Atlas desktop first-run setup wizard
  • Codex
  • Claude Code
  • Gemini CLI
  • Claude Desktop
  • VS Code

Cursor remains manual snippet only until its automatic path is fully verified in the app.

  • let an agent inspect the current review state
  • run Atlas Review from supported tools
  • read findings and outcomes through the connected tool
  • keep the app and the agent tool pointed at the same project and review context
  • project imported in Atlas
  • at least one active review-capable provider configured in Atlas
  • the agent tool installed locally if Atlas is expected to connect it automatically
  • default behavior prefers branch review
  • PR review can be targeted explicitly
  • ambiguous PR fallback should fail closed instead of guessing
  1. Open Settings > MCP in Atlas.
  2. Enable the tools Atlas detects and can connect now.
  3. Restart the selected agent tool if Atlas asks for it.
  4. Open the same project in Atlas and in the connected agent flow.
  5. Use Atlas Review from the tool with the current branch or PR context.
