Getting Started

For most users, Atlas Review starts inside the Atlas desktop app on macOS or Windows with minimal setup.

Section titled “Recommended User Path”
  • Install Atlas for macOS or Windows
  • Launch the app and follow the first-run setup wizard
  • Let Atlas scan for installed tools and existing subscriptions
  • Pick an active provider or add an API key manually
  • Optionally connect MCP targets
  • Add your first local or GitHub project

  • scan for installed CLI tools immediately during first run
  • detect usable provider credentials where possible
  • surface connected providers in Settings
  • guide MCP setup from the app instead of requiring manual config first
